About The Artist
Allyssa Van Cuyk is an illustrator and fine artist who loves creating children’s book illustrations, quirky surface designs, and plein air oil paintings. She particularly adores making illustrations involving expressive animals, highly saturated color palettes, and whimsical landscapes. She is a member of the LGBTQ+ community and is passionate about topics involving equality and inclusivity, nature conservation and abuse prevention education. She graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design with a BFA in Illustration in 2023.
